Accessibility Statement

Career support should be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or assistive input.

Our commitment

Career Readiness Consulting LLC aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We also design with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 in mind, which matters especially for the veterans and service members we support.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML landmarks with a single H1 per page, so screen readers can navigate structure reliably.
  • A visible "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Full keyboard operability: every menu, form, dialog, slot picker, and tab can be reached and used without a mouse.
  • Visible focus indicators that meet contrast requirements, never removed for aesthetics.
  • Text and interface colors tested for a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their background.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with programmatically associated labels, plus errors announced in text rather than by color alone.
  • Layouts that reflow to 320px width and remain usable at 200% zoom.
  • Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference for animated content.

Accommodations we provide

Tell us what you need when you book, or email us any time. There is no cost and no documentation required for any of the following:

  • Live captions or a transcript for any coaching session or webinar, on request.
  • Documents supplied in large-print, plain-text, or accessible-PDF format.
  • Extended session time at no additional cost where a disability makes it necessary.
  • Coaching by phone instead of video, or asynchronous written coaching.
  • A support person or interpreter present during any session.

Known limitations

  • Third-party video platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) and payment apps are outside our control. If one of them creates a barrier for you, tell us and we will move your session to a platform that works for you.
  • Some uploaded résumés and older downloadable templates may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will send an accessible version.
