Terms of Service

Clear expectations on both sides: what we deliver, how scheduling and payments work, and how refunds are handled.

Last updated August 2026

1. Who we are

  • Career Readiness Consulting LLC ("we", "us") provides career coaching, résumé and LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, federal and military transition support, curated job leads, group coaching, and online learning through this platform.
  • By creating an account, booking a session, or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.

2. What coaching is — and is not

  • Coaching is professional guidance. We help you position your experience, prepare for interviews, and build a job-search strategy.
  • We do not guarantee employment, interviews, a specific salary, a federal rating, or any hiring outcome. Results depend on your market, your effort, and factors outside our control.
  • We are not a legal, financial, medical, or immigration advisor, and nothing in a session is legal or financial advice.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Coaching sessions, memberships, and learning access are personal and non-transferable.

4. Booking, rescheduling, and no-shows

  • All sessions are virtual and scheduled in US Eastern Time. You will receive a confirmation email with a calendar file and a video link.
  • You may reschedule or cancel from your dashboard up to 24 hours before the start time at no cost.
  • Cancellations inside 24 hours, or a no-show of more than 15 minutes, count as a used session.
  • If we must reschedule, you may choose a new time at no cost or receive a full refund for that session.

5. Payments

  • Prices are in US dollars and listed on our Pricing page. Payment is due before the service is delivered.
  • We accept PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, and Zelle. Please include your reference code so we can match your payment.
  • Your service is activated once we verify the payment, normally within one business day. Uploading a payment screenshot speeds this up.
  • Monthly Membership renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from your dashboard or by email; access continues to the end of the paid month and no further charges are made.

6. Refunds

  • Free consults carry no charge and no obligation.
  • One-time services: you may request a full refund up to 48 hours after purchase if work has not yet started. Once a résumé draft, federal résumé, or coaching session has been delivered, that portion is non-refundable.
  • Memberships: the current month is non-refundable, but you can cancel any time to stop future billing.
  • Group events and workshops: refundable up to 48 hours before the start time.
  • We will always try to make it right first. Email us and we will review your situation individually.

7. AI-assisted features

  • Résumé scoring and the cover letter writer use AI to produce drafts and feedback. Output is a starting point, not a final product, and can contain errors.
  • You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated document for accuracy before you submit it to an employer. Never submit a claim about your experience that is not true.
  • Do not upload classified, controlled, or otherwise restricted material to the platform.

8. Community rules

  • Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, doxxing, spam, recruiting scams, or sharing of another member's private information.
  • Do not post confidential employer information or personally identifiable details about others.
  • We may edit, hide, or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

9. Intellectual property

  • Our courses, templates, worksheets, frameworks, and site content are our intellectual property, licensed to you for your personal career use only. Do not resell, redistribute, or publish them.
  • You keep ownership of your résumé, documents, and community posts. You grant us the limited licence needed to store them, deliver your service, and display your community posts inside the platform.

10. Limitation of liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost wages or lost job opportunities.
  • Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may need to interrupt the platform for maintenance.

11. Changes and termination

  • We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the platform at least 14 days before they take effect.
  • You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with a pro-rata refund of any unused prepaid service where required by law.

12. Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
  • We encourage you to contact us first — nearly every issue is resolved with a conversation.
